Monthly Networking Meeting

Meeting every 3rd Thursday of the month

Where: It's a Grind, 29641 The Old Road, Castaic

7:30 am (Breakfast meeting).

Come ready to Network! Bring some business cards, enjoy a coffee and muffin, and be ready to introduce your business to other Chamber members. Great opportunity for you to let others know what type of business you have or service you offer as well as let them know who would be a good customer/client for you. Each participant will have 30 to 60 seconds to highlight their business in a round table format. REMEMBER, its called Net 'working' not Net 'sitting'. Come have some fun and get some exposure for your business.

Why Is Networking Important?

What is Networking?

Years ago I would have answered this question by saying that networking is attending general and exclusive business or quasi-social events designed to help you meet people and introduce your business.  Although face-to-face meetings still offer the highest potential for higher quality contact, there are many other forms of networking that will help you gain exposure, meet potential customers, and build relationships with other business people.  It’s no secret that people tend to prefer actually knowing and meeting those they intend to do business with.  Don’t you? 

Internet Social Networking

Today there are many definitions for networking. The internet has expanded opportunity through Face Book and other specialized forums.  Members provide information about themselves, their businesses and their events to ever-growing lists of affiliates.  It’s remarkable.  These forums connect members across the globe.  Through these social networks, individuals or organizations become acquainted by values, visions, ideas, financial exchange, friendship – you name it. 

Networking With The Castaic Chamber

Although Social Networking allows you to pull your cart to other parts of the world, the best networking is done face to face.  The Castaic Chamber of Commerce provides you with an opportunity to meet other local business people who will help you grow your business. 

Sales Force - How? 

The people you network with regularly become an outside sales force for your business.  Your visibility at events keeps you top of mind.  When these people meet people who are looking for goods or services, they’ll be more likely to recommend you if they’ve seen you recently.  They’ll also learn enough about the products you sell or the services you provide to use your company themselves.
